This business sets an extremely bad example for GoLocal businesses. I was very excited to have the opportunity to support a coffee shop that served Taylor Made Coffee (rather than go to the StarBucks across the parking lot) and provided a space for local artist's art. Unfortunately, the new owners have created a very hostile space and I will never step foot into this business again. I am concerned that businesses like this will tarnish what I think you are trying to do with the GoLocal campaign. Please think about which businesses to allow to post your GoLocal emblems. Thank you.

My experience with the new ownership has been the same. I've been going to this location since it was Cafe de Croissants. I too prefer supporting local businesses, but in this case that's not going to happen. Rude baristas, and limited services will not have my support.
I would suggest that the Go Local folks consider developing a rating scale based on feedback. Anyone scoring below a specific point would be disinvited.

I've tried to contact this Eloisa several time, to no avail.
Her comments are without foundation and are harmful commerce and the employee's welfare.
Free speech is one thing, but yelping Fire in a room full of people is not protected nor is it or should it be allowed in civilized society.

Susie's is also unsupported and should removed.
It is damaging to us all when comments similar to these by Susie are not moderated. Savvy customers are those that resolve any difference at the time of occurance.
Cookie's Coffee has always had a policy of encouraging timely customer communication, "If you are content with your experience, please tell your friend. Other are asked to tell us, so that we may know that there was a situation, and then we can act timely to prevent future occurances.
