Our Wine Paradise View is one of two labels produced by Al Brayton at Paradise Vineyard, nestled in the Sonoma Coast Appellation at the intersection of Highways 37 and 121. The grapes used to produce this exceptional wine are grown on the rolling hillsides of southern Sonoma, overlooking the north shore of San Francisco Bay. With views of the bay and the city skylines, our location offers cool ocean breezes that create a longer growing season and a unique environment for growing grapes with intense and concentrated flavors. Some of the wines Paradise View currently produces are Chardonnay, Rosé, Rosé du Soleil, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Lemberger, Albarino, Malbec, Bordeaux blends and Syrah. Our Winemakers Denis Malbec was born at the famed Château Latour and learned vineyard and winery management at a very early age. He was the third generation of his family to work at Latour, beginning with his grandfather in the 1920'sFollowing in the footsteps of his father who worked there from the age of fourteen and was Cellar Master from 1969 to 1994, Denis took over as Cellar Master from 1994 to 2000. May-Britt Malbec was born in Sweden and began her wine career as a sommelier in some of Stockholm's top restaurants. In 1992 she won the award for Best Sommelier in the Nordic Countries, and has served on international sommelier judging panels. In 2000 Denis and May-Britt started their own business as international winemaking consultants, and were hired by Al in 2002.
