First Goat Kids of 2010!
Apple blossoms, tall green grass and baby goats, Spring is kidding season at Redwood Hill. February thru May, baby goats add a playful Spirit to the farm. These three cuties are our first arrivals of 2010, triplets of the nubian breed known for their long floppy ears, roman noses, and milk with high butterfat content. If you would like to visit the farm, please check our redwoodhill.com website for details on our annual Spring farm tours to be held specific weekends in April, May and June.
Like Feeling Good?
Kefir is a cultured probiotic beverage similar in taste and texture to drinkable yogurt. It is deliciously mild, with a naturally sweet, yet tangy flavor--and a refreshing hint of natural carbonation. Because kefir is such a balanced and nourishing food, it contributes to a healthy immune system. Redwood Hill Farm Kefir is cultured with 10 live and active kefir cultures, and is completely natural--NO added sugar, artificial coloring, preservatives, stabilizers or powdered milk.
Uniquely Delicious
Our goat milk yogurt is delicious and can be enjoyed by many people who are allergic to cow milk products. Starting with our fresh goat milk, we add a special blend of living cultures that create a classic yogurt flavor and includes acidophilus and bifidus to promote healthy digestion. Redwood Hill Farm yogurt is completely natural and does not contain gelatin, refined sugar, preservatives, artificial colors or flavorings. Healthful, natural, delicious!
Cheese Collection
Natural and delicious Redwood Hill Farm goat milk artisan cheeses are made from 100% fresh, grade A goat milk, non-bioengineered vegetable rennet, natural sea salt, imported cheese cultures and are kosher certified. They are handmade at our Sebastopol, California creamery in the tradition of artisanal, farmstead cheeses.
Redwood Hill Farm
Redwood Hill Farm is a family farm that has been producing the finest quality, best-tasting goat milk dairy foods for over forty years. We believe in keeping all of our products as natural and unprocessed as possible. In 2005, our farm in Sebastopol became the first goat dairy in the United States "Certified Humane" by the Humane Farm Animal Care organization, assuring you humane farm animal treatment. Our family grew up with dairy goats and they have been part of our family ever since. Each one is named and has its' own personality. We invite you to learn more about our sustainable farm online at www.redwoodhill.com, and thank you for supporting local farms.
