Sonoma West Times & News is western Sonoma County's longest publishing community newspaper serving the communities of Sebastopol, Guerneveille and along the lower Russian River and all the way to the Pacific Coast. Established in 1889 as The Sebastopol Times, the newspaper continues to serves as the "paper of record" with emphasis on watershed, agriculture, arts, entertainment and local government coverage. Family ownership is in the name of Sonoma West Publishers, led by Publisher Rollie Atkinson and Editor David Abbott.
