Harvest Party: A Celebration of Local Abundance!

Aug. 25, 2018

About

Daily Acts will be celebrating the Earth's bounty, sharing a few preservation skills to add to your homesteading toolkit, and connecting the dots about the emerging Resilient Homes program and how you can get involved.

We hope you will join us for the good people and stay for the amazing food, foot-tapping music and tasty demonstrations! Merriment will begin with a brief tour of this beautiful 3 - acre homestead, complete with chickens, edible garden and rolling oak woodlands.

This will be followed by an educational offering from food preservationist extraordinaire, Sabrina Kahn, who will teach us how to make foraged blackberry elderberry jam with best practices.

For those who have apples or know where to gather some, there will also be an apple press for those interested in learning about the effervescent process of cider making.

Music from Twin Soles will follow while we feast on seasonal delights and dance the night away!
