Palestine Support Event with Poet Remi Kanazi

September 17 at SRJC the North Coast Coalition for Palestine Support will be presenting an evening with spoken word artist Remi Kanazi. I am not familiar with him, however about every third person I mention this to gets real excited so there’s something here. I will be opening with 6 or 7 poems of my own and there will be recent photos of Palestine under occupation. This event is on a sliding scale of $10 - $15, $8 for students and no one turned away due to lack of bread. SRJC parking is now $4 so take that into consideration. The event will begin at 7:30 and not go too late. It is in Newman Auditorium off of Elliott Ave in Santa Rosa.

BTW, If your organization wants to co-sponsor a speaker or film series, contact me. You’ll need a speaker (or two), a DVD about your issue that runs 45 – 75 minutes, and an action plan that people can plug into.
