About

Bring the whole family to enjoy activities, crafts, and performances, inspired by our history exhibition, From Suffrage to #MeToo. Make a sash and paper sunflower accessory inspired by the Suffragists. Watch a historical skit by members of the Santa Rosa Rural Cemetery Preservation Committee, and learn more about the fight for women’s suffrage in Sonoma County. Play historical trivia games and go on a scavenger hunt through the exhibition. Tell the story of an inspiring woman you know at our writing station, guided by writers Elizabeth Stark, Leilani Clark and Nicole Zimmerman. Smithsonian Museum Day is an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian magazine. Participating museums and cultural institutions across the country provide free entry to anyone presenting a Museum Day ticket. The Museum Day ticket provides free admission for two people on Saturday, April 4, 2020. You can download your ticket at https://www.smithsonianmag.com/museumday/museum-day-2
