About
6th Street Playhouse's 2017/18 season opener is a true, hometown revival celebrating the 50th anniversary of the classic Broadway musical based on the famous "Peanuts" comic strip by Charles M. Schulz. Inept, but ever-hopeful, Charlie Brown searches for what it means to be a good person, finding unexpected answers from his friends Lucy, Linus, Schroeder, Sally and Snoopy.
Visit with the gang as they set out to discover how happiness in life is made up of all the little moments we often take for granted - from flying a kite, to the baseball season, to finally kicking that football! Laugh along with our cast of Cooper Bennett, Robert Finney, Katie Kelley, Siena Warnert, Amy Webber, Erik Weiss and Dominic Williams as they channel their weird, but lovable, inner kid in this warm-hearted, toe-tapping series of comic-strip-like vignettes.
Performances: Thurs, Fri and Sat at 7:30 pm; Sat at 2 pm (8/26-9/16); and Sun at 2 pm
