Every Holiday Season the Gazette publishes our Shopping Tour to encourage readers to shop locally! We know how important bringing shoppers to local merchants is to the economic survival and financial strength of our communities.

We take readers town to town so they can enjoy not only the shops, but also the shopping experience of seeing how diverse our county is, and how different each community is from others not that far away. This also gives readers an opportunity to get away from the crowds and see the beauty of our home.

This tour is our own personal perspective of Sonoma County gained from nine years of distributing the paper to newsstands, shops, cafés & restaurants across Sonoma County.

This is the 9th year we have published this Shopping Guide, so readers have come to anticipate the shops & entrepreneurs we will introduce them to, and where we will take them. Printed on high quality bookstock paper, this pull-out section features a center spread map of Sonoma County, editorial on towns and shops, and lots of encourgement for readers to support local businesses that keep our home economically strong.
