What is your fondest memory of living in Sonoma County?

Canoeing down the Russian River. Kayaking Lake Sonoma and spotting eagles, herons, and egrets.

Describe what you experience as the greatest treasure of Sonoma County.

Our open spaces and the community of people who protect them.

What for you defines 'quality of life'?

Balance of work and play. Loving where we live and what we do.

What gets you really excited about your business?

Helping decision makers choose the right technology and utilize it to achieve their goals.

Thinking about your business, what keeps you up at night?

Nothing. We sleep well.

If you could have one wish come true for Sonoma County, what would it be?

A transportation revolution that will channel investment dollars into our local economy.

What is your favorite quote or motto?

Major in majors, don't major in minors.

What or who do you most admire in Sonoma County?

The Leadership Institute for Ecology and the Economy. It's the best use of multi-level marketing we've ever seen! Twenty to thirty individual leaders per year, trained in how to balance our economic, environmental, and social equity issues, are turned out to lead our community into a sustainable future. Every day, LIFEE fellows in local (and state!) government, business, and service sectors utilize what they've learned to move Sonoma County toward sustainability.

What brought you to Sonoma County?

Melanie Bagby was born and raised in Sonoma County. Jeff Bagby is from Blair, Nebraska. Having met in college, we lived in the San Francisco area for several years but moved north to Sonoma County twelve years ago for the quality of life and great potential. We've lived in Cloverdale for 10 years where we enjoy the small town atmosphere, great cycling, and easy access to our customers throughout Sonoma County.
