Norman Solomon Gets Shout-Out from The Nation Magazine

In the Dec. 14 issue of The Nation, editor Katrina vanden Heuvel singles out North Bay progressive Norman Solomon as one of the most promising torchbearers on the national political scene for the principles, values, and programs at the core of the Occupy movement.  (Solomon is running in the Democratic party primary for the congressional seat being vacated by progressive icon Lynn Woolsey.)  Vanden Heuvel highlights Norman's decades-long commitment to "action on jobs and income inequality; ending the wars and investing those resources at home; sane and fair taxes on the wealthy and Wall Street; protecting Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid; ending our dependence on fossil fuels and preventing catastrophic climate change."  Read the entire article here.
