Oliver’s Market Supports North Bay Fire Relief Fund

In addition to $10,000 donation, Oliver’s will match up to $25,000 in customer donations

Oct. 16, 2017

Oliver’s Market is joining the generous Sonoma County community in supporting fire relief efforts with a $10,000 initial contribution, followed up with a commitment to match up to $25,000 additional dollars in customer contributions to the North Bay Fire Relief Fund organized by Redwood Credit Union, the Press Democrat, and State Senator Mike McGuire.

“Our thoughts are with our employees and members of our community who face devastating losses from these wildfires,” said Oliver’s founder and president Steve Maass. “The North Bay Fire Relief Fund gives 100% of the contributions directly to victims to support both immediate and long-term needs. We are grateful for their efforts to support our community as we endure and rebuild from this tragedy. We will work toward our $60,000 goal initially, but depending on how things go, we may increase it.”

To have a donation to the North Bay Fire Relief Fund matched by Oliver’s, customers should let their checker know the amount they would like to contribute and it will be added to their purchase at any Oliver’s location. Stores are located at 546 East Cotati Ave., Cotati; 560 Montecito Center, Santa Rosa; 461 Stony Point Road, Santa Rosa; and 9230 Old Redwood Highway, Windsor.
