Annie’s story tells us what is wrong and why. What we are doing with the Co-op is finding what is right and how we can do the rights things so we can break the cycle of consumerism.
It’s not like this has been going on forever. The “Consumer Economy” began in the 1950’s, that’s only 50 years ago. Yes, it’s hard to break the habits of two generations, but if we don’t do it, Who will ?
