Soma Rosa Farms

In 1875 when Luther Burbank landed in Sonoma County he declared it “the chosen spot of all this earth as far as nature is concerned.”  He made this the site of his experimental garden where he developed new plant varieties that would change agriculture forever. 

101 years later the first known seeds from Kabul, Afghanistan would land in Cazadero. The hybrids created by breeding the short flowering, potent Afghani with the imported equatorial narrow leaf varieties would change the cannabis world forever.

At Soma Rosa we carry on the Sonoma County tradition. Our plants are grown in the native gold ridge soil, kissed by the perfect blend of cool coastal and warm inland air. We breed and select new cultivars on our farms that excel in our terroir.  Our commitment is to produce the very best tasting and smoking cannabis in the world!
