Redwood Credit Union (RCU) is proud to announce its celebration of 70 years of service to members.
Many financial institutions will be closed for the federal holiday on October 14, but Redwood Credit Union (RCU) will be closed for a different reason: to send all 700 of its employees out to teach practical financial skills to more than 3,000 high school students across three North Bay counties.
Over 3,600 residents in Marin, Napa, Sonoma and Mendocino counties took action to protect themselves from fraud and identity theft by shredding old financial records and other paperwork at Redwood Credit Union’s (RCU’s) free annual Shred-a-Thons held over the summer. Trucks from Shred-IT were on-site at the events to help the communities safely dispose of and recycle 150,550 lbs. of documents.
The National Credit Union Foundation presented the Anchor Award to Brett Martinez at its annual Herb Wegner Memorial Awards Dinner on March 11th during the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) in Washington, D.C.
As part of a career exploration day, 33 students visited the Santa Rosa headquarters of Redwood Credit Union (RCU) on Tuesday, March 5.
