Miguel Elliott started Living Earth Structures (LES) after years of traveling the world studying different styles of natural building., and has now returned to his hometown of Petaluma to apply this craft here. His motto is "Let's pick up where General Vallejo left off but instead of using Native American slaves to do the work, lets make it fun, rounded and community oriented projects where even kids can help.

LES specializing in building adobe/cob wood fired ovens ovens, benches, saunas, earthen art and small structures which are excellent for building community, for everybody loves a good pizza cooked in just 2 minutes inside the oven, which also serves as an outdoor fireplace. The structures work great for any family or business that enjoys offering outdoor cooking and entertainment.

LES teaches workshops also to teach people how to use the earth in their local backyard to build their structures. LES can also take a square interior and make it look and feel like a magical Hobbit hut, with round windows, arched doors, nooks, heated earthen benches and trees sculpted on the walls and clay plasters. The structures are given a natural plaster and sealer, making them water resistant and beautiful to the eye.
