If I had to make a "desert island" list of the top ten businesses I depend on for my daily service needs in Sonoma County, the Mac Advantage would be at the top of that list. Years ago, just before my keynote slide show presentation at a conference, my MacBook crashed. Tam magically appeared (he was attending and happened to overhear me in my state of sheer panic.) He repaired my MacBook on the spot! Didn't even charge me. We've had him service all the macs in our offices, ever since - and love recommending him to associates. They always come back to thank us!

Apple referred me to Tam at the Mac Advantage after the Apple Store upgraded my system and my data was lost. I had it backed up but the Apple Store geniuses couldn't get the data to transfer from the external drive to my Mac. It was critical that I recover the documents asap. MacAdvantage recovered every document, every item on my Mac in a couple of hours!! The entire experience at MacAdvantage was exceptional. Tam's level of expertise and professionalism are exemplary. Overnighted my MacBook from Nevada to MacAdvantage in CA with a failed hard drive not fully backed up. Within 48 hours I had my MacBook, data fully restored, with a larger hard drive, more RAM & running faster than ever. Is that even possible????!!!? I can now have multiple memory hogging apps & files open, working at warp speed. I'd used MacAdvantage's remote service on my iMac - they connected to my computer & repaired major issues, without me ever leaving my desk - all for around $40!

Tam is a man of impeccable integrity and generosity, and is exceptionally skilled technically. Mac Advantage is run in an extremely organized & professional manner - with great attention to customer care. I've been working with Tam & the Mac Advantage for about 12 years now! They've supported my business and my family's macs all that time - have seen my family grow and have treated us all with the utmost kindess & respect - from our young children to our elderly parents. My work has me traveling extensively now, but I know wherever I am in the world, Tam (or one of his several highly trained technicians) is only a phone call & remote service away.

Thank you for recovering EVERYTHING! All my beloved deceased partner's writing, art, financial records, photos, and original music. Thanks for restoring it for even less than estimated, and with a faster turnaround time than originally estimated too. You recovered all the data for about the same amount I'd paid two other companies that failed to recover anything. I really appreciate that unlike the other companies I'd tried, you don't charge for recovery unless/until data is recovered. I'd just about given up & probably wouldn't have tried again, if I'd had to pay again without being guaranteed at least some data would be accessed . . I think the art, music & photos - so dear to my heart would have been lost forever if I hadn't found you.
