Straus Family Creamery is a small, family-owned, organic creamery which produces milk, ice-cream, yogurt and butter with milk sourced from our own dairy and from tow other local family dairies.
We only make organic dairy products. In fact, we are the only California milk producer that runs both an organic dairy and an organic creamery.
All of our products are made from milk that has been pasteurized at 170 degrees for 19 seconds, about the same temperature as a nice toasty cup of hot chocolate. This slow process keeps the natural flavors of the milk intact. You'll taste the difference after just one sip!
