The Healdsburg Wild Steelhead Festival attracts over 3,000 fun-seekers to the Healdsburg Plaza to celebrate the Russian River’s wild Steelhead and watershed.
The Fifth Annual Healdsburg Wild Steelhead Festival is February 10, 11 and 12, 2012.
Friday, February 10:
Wild Salmon Dinner at the Villa Chanticleer, Healdsburg.
Jim Norton, PBS Nature filmmaker and Snake River Guide will discuss his film, "Salmon: Running the Gauntlet", one of the most watched episodes of PBS Nature.
6pm - Appetizers
7pm - Buffet dinner
8pm - Program
Silent auction including a new kayak, custom fly fishing rods, fishing trips, fishing accessories, and more.
Cost = $40 adults, $20 kids 12 and under.
Saturday, February 11:
Festival in Healdsburg Plaza 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
60 educational exhibits, free trout pond, fly fishing casting pond, fishing gear and boats, art for kids, cooking demos by local chefs, wine tasting, and a live Steelhead display.
Music by the Rose Town Ramblers.
Sunday, February 12:
Lake Sonoma Visitor Center tours. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
