Voted Sonoma County's best radical guerilla marching band, the Hubbub Club has been described as a cross between a New Orleans marching band, a gypsy caravan,  and a Fellini movie.  We are an ensemble of 30-plus musicians and dancers who make music together in a funky, fun fashion to promote, uplift, and support our local communities. We play a wide range of music, drawing on the traditions of brass bands, street bands, and popular music from around the world. The band has been together for 2 1/2 years, playing at a variety of community events including benefits, festivals, concerts, rallies, protests, parades, and gigs at local venues. Some of the events we have participated in are the Freestone Fermentation Festival, Cotati's Accordion Festival, the Occidental Fool's Parade, South A Street's Winterblast, the Apple Blossom parade, the Forestville Youth Park Benefit, Aids benefits, Occidental Arts & Ecology Center's 'Chautauqua Review', the 2008 and 2009 Handcar Regatta, and the Zombie Health Care March, to name a few.

The Hubbub Club's diverse, multi-generational musicians are committed to a non-hierarchical, democratic process. We believe that music is a powerful tool for social change, and we strive to help heal the earth and her people in all aspects of our work.

The band participated in HonkFest West's 2009 and 2010 Marching Band Convergence in Seattle, sharing the stage with similar bands from all over the world.
