Petaluma businesses will participate in Petaluma’s 2nd Annual Shop & Crawl Dec. 5th & 6th, sponsored by Sonoma County GoLocal Cooperative in conjunction with the Petaluma Downtown Association’s Merchant Open House.
This year as last, the City proclaims December to be Buy Local Month, and last year’s event brought crowds of shoppers to the streets and hundreds of pledges to purchase 80% of holiday gifts from locally-owned stores. The Shop & Crawl begins at Aqus Café on H Street 11am Sat as people gather to enjoy live music.
Saturday night will conclude with John Crowley’s popular Aqus Network Art/Pub Crawl. The event compliments PDA’s Merchant Openhouse, Stuff your Stocking with Local Cheer, a weekend of events throughout downtown including carriage rides, Apple Tree Morris Dancers, face painting, a lighted boat parade Sat. at 6:30pm.
