About
From the outside, trees seem inanimate and solitary. But the silence of the forest belies a flurry of activity taking place just beneath the surface. In The Hidden Life of Trees, German arborist Peter Wohlleben explores the surprising ways trees think, feel, and communicate with one another. It turns out that trees can befriend one another, develop rivalries, and nurse each other back to health. With accessible, entertaining storytelling, Wohlleben shows us forests as they really are: full of life. All are welcome for this casual, open conversation. Bring up a drink or a snack from SHED’s fermentation bar and join us in a discussion perfect for farmers, cooks, environmentalists- anyone who is interested in the exploring a range of topics. This event is free to attend. Please RSVP to let us know you’re coming.
