Signing Up

When you create an account at golocal.coop we ask for information such as your name, email, address, and phone number. Once you sign up for our services, you are not anonymous to us. On this website, we use and display the business names of those who sign up and participate online.

Purchasing

When purchasing membership or other services we might ask for your credit card information. When you make a purchase online, we submit your name, address and financial information to the companies necessary to transact the credit card charge. GoLocal does not store or divulge any credit card information.

Profiles and Member Lists

You can create a business profile that includes information about your business. You have control over the information that appears in your business profiles, including your address, phone numbers, photos, website, etc. Your profiles are available for other people to see. You can update your profile(s) at any time by logging in and visiting your account on this website. Your business name, the date you joined, and other information can appear to other members in various member lists.

What We Use Your Information For

We send out communications and offers from time to time to the email address, mobile device and/or physical address specified in your membership account. You may unsubscribe or subscribe to our communication and mailings at any time by contacting us.

Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by GO LOCAL. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service and to provide general statistics regarding use of the GoLocal website.

GO LOCAL may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from GoLocal and its affiliates. GO LOCAL may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.

GoLocal does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.

GoLocal may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your unique personally identifiable information (e-mail, name, address, telephone number) is transferred to the third party. Member Account, Password and Security
