GO LOCAL is a co-op networking and marketing organization for locally owned independent businesses and local organizations. Through shared branding, targeted media and a Rewards Program, GO LOCAL reaches exclusively local-loving consumers in Sonoma County - your customers. We deliver smart, locally targeted media services to locally owned businesses, leveraging a shared marketing brand and community-focused messages to create "strength in numbers."

GO LOCAL WAS LAUNCHED IN 2010 
Since then, we’ve generated billions of gross media impressions throughout Sonoma County and the North Bay and created a $10M brand built on a strong reputation for growing the number of local-loving fans throughout the county into the tens of thousands. We have become THE source for all things local in Sonoma County:

  • Promoting local businesses and organizations

  • Educating consumers about the benefits of buying locally

  • Helping hundreds of businesses annually increase local sales through marketing and advertising 

  • And, ultimately, getting more dollars recirculating into the local economy.

There are tiers of business participation. You'll be asked to verify that your business meets our criteria.

  • Business is privately held (not publicly traded).
  • 50% or greater of the business owners live in Sonoma County.
  • Business corporate headquarters are in Sonoma County.
  • Business makes independent decisions regarding the name and look of the business, as well as all business purchasing practices and distribution.
  • Business pays all its own rent, marketing expenses and other expenses.

MEMBER BENEFITS

SUPPORTER BENEFITS & FRANCHISE ELIGIBILITY

  • Supporters are businesses that are not locally owned and headquartered in Sonoma County, eligible to participate on a case by case basis. Includes all of the above benefits with the exception of a "GO LOCAL supporter" logo for your use. Learn more about Supporter Benefits here, and join using the same application below.
  • Our programs have been developed to serve local owners who are available to meet with us, and have autonomy to transform any and all aspects of their businesses toward greater local economic strength. We understand that franchises exist in many shapes and sizes.
  • Contact us if your business is a franchise so that we can establish your local economic impact and invite you to join GO LOCAL as a member or supporter.
