About

A FRESH START The Revitalization Project The Ronsheimer building is an iconic sight on Main Street in downtown Penngrove. Built in 1872 it has served as a railroad station, general store and mercantile, post office, and hardware store. In May 2015 a fire occurred in the back of the building, providing the opportunity for the building to be remodeled and revitalized, while still retaining the historic original facade of the building. It was as the building was worked on that Rebecca McDowell began to wonder if her dream of providing a market and community hub in the middle of Penngrove was possible. Holding onto her dream she approached first her husband, Evan, and then long time friends Joe and Shaina Ferraro to collaborate together and make Penngrove Market.

THE FUTURE OF PENNGROVE MARKET Our Mission and Vision We want to create a neighborhood grocery store that nurtures connection with our community, our environment, and local farmers and artisans. To highlight the bounty of delicious foods grown and made within Sonoma County. To support, educate, and nourish our neighbors and employees.
