About

We're going back to the basics of what we love about coffee. Our focus is in the details with our small batch coffee roasting and entirely hand made provisions. We take pride in our craft of brewing coffee using classic brew methods and paramount precision. We have been working in the specialty coffee industry for over 12 years, perfecting our craft by learning from flagship companies and other small local cafes and coffee shops. We established our coffee roasting company in the Spring of 2014, roasting our coffee in one pound batches and hosting pop-ups at a local bagel shop in Oakland. Seeking to escape the city, we fell in love with the beauty of Sonoma County and it's amazing communtiy of talented purveyors. In early 2015, we followed our hearts, packed up and moved to Santa Rosa. We began roasting coffee out of our home and sharing our craft at farmer's markets around the county. We recently began roasting on a 2 kilo (about 4 pounds) coffee roaster made by Mill City Roasters. We believe in the quality of roasting our coffee in small batches and sourcing our coffee from small farms and co-ops that are just as meticulous as we are. The brewed cup speaks for itself. We work with two local green coffee importers that work directly with coffee farmers and co-ops all over the world - Coffee Shrub in Oakland, CA & Olam Coffee in Healdsburg, CA. The prices paid for coffee are above Fair Trade minimums and with these importers, we can trust that coffee producers are being paid premium prices in reward for quality coffee and are able to reinvest in their farms for the future. Through them, we seek out smaller lots of coffee from family owned farms and co-ops. Our goal is to create an unmatched service experience and prepare consistently well-crafted beverages in a warm, welcoming environment. We craft as many things in house as possible, from our coffee syrups to our chai and house made hemp-coconut milk. We take great pride in crafting our provisions using wholesome ingredients sourced locally from Sonoma County whenever possible. Learn more about who we work with here.
