Keith and Paul Kruetzfeldt first owned and operated Solar Universe of Santa Rosa starting in 2009. They’ve evolved their company to today’s Suntegrity Solar, an independent company.

Keith Kruetzfeldt first dreamed of operating an alternative energy business while working at UC Davis on the development of Hybrid Electric Vehicles with Dr. Frank, one of the pioneers of the Plug-In Hybrid. In his early career as a Mechanical Engineer and subsequent Engineering Manager with Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies, Keith supported the production of Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs), another alternative energy technology that has blossomed similar to solar. Engineering and the love of emerging technologies runs in the family.... Paul Kruetzfeldt, his father, is not only an Electrical Engineer, but also a licensed General, and Electrical, and Solar Contractor. In teaming with his father, who brings over 35 years of construction experience, Keith’s dream has become a reality at a time when protecting the environment and saving money are of utmost importance.

Keith and Paul have studied the challenges facing home and business owners, including agricultural sites, and in 2009, initially adopted an innovative approach to solar installations, the Solar Universe Network. Solar Universe of Santa Rosa, later Repower Santa Rosa, was backed by a franchise organization with years of solar experience, a solid, established infrastructure, and access to wholesale pricing. With close to ten years experience, Keith and Paul evolved to being an independent company, now Suntegrity Solar. In order to help customers meet the financial challenge of solar installation, which has to date been the largest inhibitor, the Kruetzfeldt team works with customers from start to finish to design, and then install, the most economical system possible, as well as to decipher and process that detailed paperwork that leads to various federal, state, and county rebates and other financial incentives.

Currently, the federal government offers a 30% tax credit on installation costs, and Sonoma County, offers Sonoma County Energy Independence Program (SCEIP). Let us show you how these programs coupled with our financing programs, can benefit you. Call us locally at (707) 623-1464.
