The Rotary Club of Santa Rosa East/West

PO Box 2785, Santa Rosa, CA 95405

About

We are an innovative Rotary Club that meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from noon to 1:30pm to learn about our community and to plan volunteer projects. Additionally each month, we do at least one hands-on project and enjoy one Club Social. Club Socials are typically held at a local non-profit, business or restaurant.

Our bi-monthly meeting is held at the Finley Community Center, located at 2060 W College Avenue in Santa Rosa, California. We meet in the Cypress Room. Reach out to us with questions or to let us know you will be joining us. We'd love to have you! Call or text Julie Montgomery at 707-328-5905 between 10am and 5pm. You can also email us at sreastwestrotary@gmail.com.

Our Rotary Club does a lot of great service projects in our community, and we make it a fun experience. Some examples are: - Free dictionaries to 3rd graders - Community garden beautification - College and vocational scholarships - Food packing at the food bank - River and park clean-ups - School supplies for kids - Local non-profit support - Youth life skills training - Veterans tribute luncheon - Fire and disaster relief funding

We also lead many international projects, such as: - Solar cookers and fruit trees in Uganda - Enterprise development training in Nepal - Family reunification of runaways in Tanzania - Cultural preservation and agro-ecological training in Ecuador - Medial kits in Ukraine - Scholarships in Kenya - Doctors and dentists in Panama

We are always striving to expand our impact in Santa Rosa. We are looking for folks of all ages and stages to work shoulder to shoulder with us to improve the lives of youth, seniors, women, those differently-abled, high school graduates, veterans, the homeless and more.

If you love your community and want to get involved in making it better, you found the right place. Come to a meeting and see what all the excitement is about!

With Rotary, you’ll join a dedicated group of volunteers representing different professions, experiences and perspectives, but with a shared desire to help others. Through meetings, social events, and volunteer projects, our members learn about the issues facing our community, draw up action plans, and together take action.

Along with these opportunities to serve, members also are able to regularly network, resulting in lifelong friendships, travel opportunities and business connections. We are looking for people of action. Will you join us?
